Heartaches and Heartbreaks

The UH Warriors suffered another loss today to conference rival Fresno State today extending our losing streak to 6.  Heartaches and heartbreaks for players and fans alike in the 808 state.  As a huge underdog, the Warriors were spotted 34 points only to go lose by 35 points.  It has been painful to watch as our QB cannot stay upright in a collapsing pocket.  Next week we welcome a bitter Boise Stae team that also suffered a defeat on their own smurf turf.  That can only man that they may want to take out their curent frustrations on the Warriors.  A much needed home game for the Warriors may be what the doctor ordered but, it will not be easy at all.  Next Saturday, a tall order will be on tap as, I hope, the fans will make their way to the stadium and give our team the support they need.  The 12th man could be the boost they need.  The Warriors wil have a long flight home after their pounding but, they need to have a short memory and get back to business.  Although UH coach Norm Chow finally subbed QB Schroder, and the back up ad a little better showing, he still is sticking with the Duke transfer to start against the Broncos.
Keep your head uo Warriors, we stil have some season left.  Let's continue to build on what we have.

UH vs Colorado State

How many ti leaves will we see in the crowd at Colorado State on Saturday as the Warriors travel again for a non-conference matchup?  I hope we do have some ti leaves out there and some die hard fans that made the trek to Colorado.  I was a little shocked to hear that some of the players were talking about the weather more than the game itself.  Warriors, I got your guys back, braddas.  Take this road trip and ocus on taking care of business on the grid iron and don't worry about the temperature on and off the field.  Facing a team with a 1-6 record give us hope that we could have a game to build upon. We need a big "W" to bring some momentum and swag back to Hawaii as we prepare for 2 familiar foes.  We travel to Fresno State, where those fans absolutely hate us and creates a seriouly hostile enviroment and Boise State makes their return to Hawaii.  Calling all the fans of UH, raise those ti leaves up and support our Warriors. Hopefully we will be celebrating Thanksgiving early.
